I submitted 5/28 at noon. Been “in review” since 6/11. All my transcripts have been in since 5/7. I’ve tried to call and email to see what the hold up is but I was just on hold for 2.5 hours only for someone to hang up on me 🙁

Were you "under review" on 6/11 or "ready for review" on 6/11? Bc if you were ready for review on 6/11 they're getting to those apps today.

Yes, keep calling. If you get in queue, you can press a # where you leave your number (i.e. keep your place in line) and AMCAS staff will call you back. I did that and AMCAS staff called me promptly after 7pm. Obviously, n=1, but it will be a better use of your time in my opinion rather than waiting for 2.5 hours.

I was finally able to reach AMCAS today. The person on the line told me there's no issues with my transcripts, but they have no control over individual verifiers so if mine is taking over a month there's nothing that I can do to make them go faster. It's just annoying to have submitted early to get verified before transmission, but now it's out of my control. I guess if there's no movement in the next couple of days I'll call back and request a new verifier (??) because I have no clue how my app would take 4 weeks to review.

Please email the person I IM'd you. He was very helpful and is in a senior leadership position in AAMC. He may take a few days to respond but will hopefully solve your problem.

It gets exponentially longer as we approach peak processing times. End of May, it was 4 to 5 days? Now, it takes 3 to 4 weeks. I expect this number to grow as we enter July and early August.

Guess that would be case-by-case, depending on (per @lumya - the verifier), or the number of transcripts, or the number of courses, or any other reason. Most go from "Ready to Review" to "Complete" within the same day.

Do you have to resubmit your application if you added one more letter of recommendation? If so, how do you do that? AMCAS says they received my letter of recommendation, but there's no place to resubmit it; when I hover over it, it doesn't allow me to resubmit it. FYI I originally submitted my application on 6/18 and it has been marked "Review for review" since then. Thanks.

My application has been stuck at “under review” for a few days now. Has anyone else experienced this?

I haven't experienced this--I'm still at Ready for Review. However, I think maybe we should be going by the date that our app was Ready for Review as opposed to when it went Under Review.

But honestly, I'm fine not being verified until tomorrow. The extra day to work on secondaries before they start counting how many days I took to submit them helps
