2020 Macbook Pro vs 2020 Air

Now that the new Pro has been released I'm gearing up to buy my med school laptop. I'm wondering if any current students could comment their thoughts on the Air vs the Pro in terms of utility during medical school? I plan to basically use this laptop for med school stuff only and I don't game/photo edit/video edit/other things that would make the choice a lot clearer. Given the price difference, I just don't want to spend a bunch of extra cash if I don't need to. I've heard stuff about bad thermals on the Air which is my main hesitancy about it, but is that something I'd even have to worry about with just watching lectures/taking notes/etc?

Edit: I understand that probably no one has used either of these in medical school yet, but generally how have Pros vs Airs done in the past

I had an Air in college (2015) and I really loved it and had no issue with it in any regard. It got stolen however and then I bought a Pro in 2018 and I haven’t noticed any difference really between the two. Since they were really different models I obviously love the Pro more, but in terms of speed I didn’t see anything different. I think you’d be good to go either way in my opinion !
