I know the website states that "preliminary rejection emails are sent beginning in February and acceptance notifications are mailed beginning February 1", but I was wondering if people who are WL or A receive news through mail or email?

Based on last year's thread, emails for As will be sent tomorrow morning. I think Rs are sent later in the day, and I think WL emails are sent throughout the month?
 
for those who interviewed in Jan, I was able to find someone in the 2019-2020 cycle who was accepted on the first day with a mid-Jan interview. however, I would say more likely mid/late jan interviewees might expect to hear back in late feb instead of tomorrow
disclaimer: this is all just speculation

Same here, don't worry their system probably hasn't updated or something!
 
Congrats everyone! Feeling disappointed that I didn’t get the A this morning as this was by far my top choice of the places I interviewed but best of luck, I’m sure you all will make wonderful physicians!

For those who didn't, it's still very early in the season so keep your spirits up. The order that they send out As doesn't always seem to make sense, and yes it's very stressful sometimes.

If you're having trouble accepting in the portal, don't worry, it takes a little time for the Einstein and AMCAS systems to talk to each other and sync up. Keep trying, it'll work eventually!
 
Did anyone hear back post-II from the MSTP yet? slowly dying over here 🥲 I was debating sending a letter of intent but not sure if I should wait and send it if I get waitlisted.
 
I'm not sure that anyone who interviewed in Dec/Jan has heard back? I think I've only seen Sept-Nov acceptances here so far (I could be wrong). Still trying to have faith 🙁

I interviewed in December and didn’t hear anything :/ not sure what the deal is as it looks like (from this thread ) that no December/January interviewees heard back
 
I interviewed Dec 3 and no response. Really hoping they pull through soon with an A as it’s my top choice and I really thought I had a chance.

I was january and havent heard back- I’m surprised december didnt hear anything either!!
 
Damn so if we had an October interview and haven’t heard anything yet, it’s most likely a WL or R right? This sucks cause my interview went so well and my interviewer said they can’t wait to see me at Einstein

It has only been a few hours. They could easily have another batch of emails go out or accept more students on a different day.

Also, congrats on your 7 acceptances

Same here... working on sending a letter of interest. I Interviewed in October and we were told that everyone who didn't hear back for the first round of acceptances in December would automatically be waitlisted and reviewed as they continued to interview more people. If you interviewed before December and haven't been rejected post-interview, I think it's fair to assume that you have been waitlisted.
