3.48 cGPA, 3.2 sGPA for undergrad. 3.93 sGPA/cGPA for Masters/PhD, 516 MCAT. ORM South Asian. No upward trend in my undergrad GPA (seesawed between good one semester and bad the other) due to a terrible research lab situation. Currently finishing up my doctorate this year and have applied to 52 schools
Update: Finished up 1 DO interview yesterday and have an MD interview next month 🙂

2.6 uGPA, 3.7 SMP, 514 MCAT, prior military, super non-trad, URM. 2 MD II so far. "Late" secondary submissions (Sept) and still working on secondaries, it's been a rough couple of months.
You got this! sending positive vibes

Go the call today and I'm going to medical school!!! A to MD school and 2 II still pending. You are more then just a number! Don't be discouraged by your GPA/MCAT. Feel free to reach out out and happy to provide motivation/guidance to whoever.

Anyone else get the distinct impression that they’re not getting as many interviews as expected because schools are assuming you’re interviewing at more “prestigious” programs?

Definitely interviewed at a NY metro MD program the other day and the adcom member was trying to convince me that I would fit in better there as a non trad over Cornell or Sinai. In my head I was like “Bruh I wish I had that choice!” 😭

It's possible tbh!! My MCAT isn't even as high as the ones in this thread and I feel like it happened to me. There's an IS school for me that is a mission fit to the T, they love reapplicants, and my gpa is like above the 10-25th %ile for once. However my MCAT is well above their 90th and it's been crickets from them.

i've always wondered about this but never had any proof, we would actually be standing right in the med school no-man's-land between two WWI trenches

Hope everyone in this thread has been doing well

Ended the cycle with 5 MD IIs and 5 DO IIs and will be attending one of the MDs

4 cycles and 4 MCATs later and I made it 🙂
I'd also like to add to this!

TMDSAS calculations: ORM reapplicant w/ 3.39 sGPA, 3.57 cGPA, 516 MCAT

3 MD II 1 DO II (all TMDSAS). Accepted to TCOM and matched to TX MD🙂
Love to see the Texans winning!
