For those who attended the Zoom Virtual Meet Up with the current students the week of their interview, what do you recommend wearing to this part of the interview day?

I wore a T-shirt and many people were dressed similarly. It was just M1/M2s talking about life at the school. I wouldn't stress about attire for that considering its optional.

Would it be worth applying here still? 509 and 3.9 GPA. Low research, high clinical, high volunteering.
I volunteered with a current student who had similar stats an experiences. They showed that they were a good "fit" in other ways, although I think they applied earlier in the cycle.

Any suggestions on how to prepare for the interview?

Fortunately I have already received an acceptance to a different school. But I lost all motivation to prepare for this interview. Just gonna try to charm them Based on the comments from others, it will be mostly conversational

My interview was so casual. Only 30 mins with only a few medicine related questions. A little confused on how they have only a ~40% post II acceptance rate with such chill interviews. How are they cutting the 60% of applicants? Fit and personality? Love the vibe of the school and definitely a top choice for me

Been thinking about that a lot since my interview hahaha. The short/chill interviews like Einstein's are nice in the moment, but I also feel like the longer/more formal interviews I've had have let me do a better job of showing who I am. Feb 1 can't come quick enough!!

They do go back probably and look at the application again and decide in conjunction with the interview. They do seem to interview quite a lot of applicants.

Just received MSTP II. Complete on 7/15.

Anyone been through their MSTP interviews yet and got any advice?

Does anyone know how often the adcom meets? Trying to figure out if it's worth sending an update letter as a 10/9 interviewee. Not sure if the adcom already met and decided about me one way or another lol

bro be careful to sign their interview consent form. apparently if you don't see it or forget to complete it, they rescind your interview. no appeal. (i got lucky).

Was wondering this too. Also interviewed on 10/9. I'm definitely gonna send an update letter, but I'm not sure the right time to do so. I was thinking maybe in December, but I might just do it this week haha.

How did folks dress for the student info session in the afternoon? Casually or in interview attire?
