CURRENT READERS
that redhead - small animal/exotics GP. I’ll read it and let you know what I think
Glammyre | c/o 2018, going into epidemiology research | Grammar and readability, but happy to soundboard on content. I'll respond faster to PMs than to thread notifications.
SportPonies | U of I c/o 2021 | Throw it all at me! I tend to be very nitpicky about grammar, but content is my real forte.
allygator13 | SGU/UTK c/o 2018, starting a rotating internship in June | I'm a grammar nazi so can help with that, but also will give general feedback and help with content where necessary
🙂
Ziggyandjazzy, Oregon State ‘22, I can help you with whatever. Fine tuning tiny grammar issues is not my forte as I grew up with a bilingual education. I can definitely help you with your “story” and getting across what you want to. I tend towards brutal honesty lol. (I can fix formatting on this post later, on my phone atm bc I am unfortunately having MacBook issues, again, sigh)
YoungKal • MI ST C/O 2022 • I can help with whatever. I’m not super good at grammar but I got really good at explaining experiences.
Elkhart | Former member of the c/o 2020 | I'd say that my greatest strengths lie in nitpicking grammar and other general mechanics such as flow and word choice/variability. Truthfully, I'm probably best utilized as a final proofreader moreso than as a starting point.
mmmdreamerz | c/o 2021 | I can definitely help with grammar but my favorite thing is to help make the writing “flow.” Happy to help with anything really. I’ll be honest, but I’ll be nice about it haha.
AFutureDogtor | C/O 2022 | I'm super great with grammar and the technical aspects of writing. I'm also willing to help you put together your story/make your writing flow, but I'm not great at putting things together from the very, very beginning, so please come to me with something already written. Feel free to ask me questions beyond just those for your statement!
🙂 Good luck!
RedLauren| C/O 2022 | I can help you with making sure that what you write will highlight what makes you unique and what you as an individual will contribute to your class and to veterinary medicine. I think it is important to show the admissions committee that you are not just one of many in the sea of applicants - so make yourself stand out! I will help you avoid cliches, and highlight your strengths. I'm also good at checking grammar and the continuity of your writing.
genny | small animal GP | I am good at making wordy writing more concise. I did an explanation statement with my application in 2012, so I can give feedback on those too. I was a non-trad student.
MD PhD| MD PhD c/o 2021 | Name says it all. Long time lurker. Would love to give back to the SDN community as it helped me a lot during my application process (especially the school specific threads.) Can check for grammar and flow.
MSUcvmHOPE | Michigan State cvm c/o 2023 | focus mostly on making sure you answer the prompt, cleanliness of wording, and grammar | reporting for duty!
