I submitted my secondary to them on Jul 25, also only missing the MCAT

im having the same issue, it still says my mcat is not received

Other schools include spaces so id assume so. If you’re like 5 characters over though, I doubt anyone will care

mine has, but I took it in march and submitted 7/18, so not sure if I beat whatever issue they're currently having

hmm i took mine in feb and submitted 07.27.. maybe thats why?

Yes, I'm in the same boat. I messaged them about it but haven't heard back.
 
Out of curiosity, does Drexel pre-screen?
 
How long does it usually take to receive a secondary? Submitted my primary to them on 7/24 and haven't gotten anything yet...tried to call the admissions office twice for a time estimate but it would just go to voicemail. It's only been a week so I could just be impatient/anxious...

For those still waiting for a secondary, go to the Drexel med application portal and simply input your AAMC ID, reset your password, and submit the secondary.

Don't do this dude, if they haven't sent it to you why would you go out your way to submit a secondary? They are probably sending them in waves due to having a high number of applicants. Just be patient dude it's literally august there is no need to be panicking

I guarantee it's completely fine. This is all done by a third party site and it is not like they get a warning that you reset your password before they sent you an email.

It is definitely a better option than spamming their phone asking when they are gonna send a secondary. The premeds get more neurotic every year
 
IS just received an II hold. This is basically a soft R right? Didn't expect a hold so early.

They probably all sat around a table and said look we have 14k applications lets not give this guy an interview yet and circle back later. Not necessarily a soft-R? Maybe someone with more knowledge can add more

I'm sorry! I got my first hold yesterday, and it was the first I've heard from any school. Definitely got me down, I'm just working on remembering that getting holds and rejections is inevitable in this process. Most people get 1 acceptance, if that! So, hopefully each R or hold gets easier to swallow as the weeks go on

Interview holds depend on the school, but for the majority of programs they can be taken as a soft R, especially if the school sends you an email updating you on the status. In that case, it is not a "lets not offer an interview yet and circle back" it is more of a "if we run out of applicants to give an interview to we can circle back". Still not over, but is more dependent on how competitive other apps are

I was verified the 23rd and received Drexel 2 days later. However, I am about to hit the 2-week mark of waiting for secondaries for other schools

I did not expect it to be a problem since Drexel states that they don't screen for secondaries beyond citizenship, plus it seems there may be a glitch where people aren't getting secondaries. And at the end of the day-- it's just a secondary-- not like I invited myself to an interview or something. We'll see if it ends up biting me.

Regardless, it was dumb and may show signs of neuroticism and impatience to adcoms. Would not recommend.

Their website says it might take up to two weeks. Today is 14 days for me. Before I email, has anyone received it sooner? I really don't want to email and bother them lol.

Scam is a strong word. Trying to jump ahead in line? Maybe. Doesn’t matter when everyone’s apps are reviewed either way. Drexel is being weird this year with secondaries so added neuroticism is fair.

question, if my mcat is very similar to their median mcat, would it be unwise to talk about how a situation in my life caused me to have a "lower" score for q2?
