OOS WL. Sending a LOI asap I want to go here so bad. Does anyone know when they start pulling people off the WL? Also where on the portal should we upload a letter of Intent?

You should be able to just upload it straight to the AMP portal. Not sure when they start WL movement though, I would assume not until mid April.

I’m assuming anyone who interviewed end of Feb till end of March will hear around the same time, since they said people interviewing in March will likely hear back sooner than 4 weeks bc they were the last interviews for the cycle.

You think end of April? Or before the April 15?
 
Anyone know if this school is open for deferral for a year due to financial reasons? I am Canadian and the banks have rejected by request for LOC either due to co-signer issue or they dont recognize MSUCOM as a medical school. This is my only acceptance and I am not sure how to gather the funds for it. I am hoping with an additional year, I can explore alternative options; private loans, smaller banks, savings etc.
Hoping for any suggestions

Well prob def hear back sooner than 4-6 weeks. That’s what they said in the interview since it’s nearing the end of their cycle so they need to send out decisions sooner. Hopefully we’ll hear something in the next week or so🤞
 
+1 IS WL 04/07/2026, interviewed late Feb. Anyone get an acceptance from the late Feb interview batch?
 
Silly question, do they email you to let you know if you are waitlisted, or is it in the portal? I interviewed in early February and have heard nothing.
 
Idk if this means much, but to everyone who interviewed late (like me) a friend of mine who goes to MSUCOM told me that we’re most likely gonna get waitlisted off rip since a lot of their slots are probably filled and are gonna wait for WL movement. Take this with a grain of salt cuz this is a students opinion and not the opinion of someone on an admissions committee or something

I hope when CTE rolls around there’s going to be a decent amount of slots 😭

is there typically a lot of waitlist movement?
 
Sorry to be that person but wondering what the drug screen looks like, are we doing observed collections? Hair/urine? When do they have to be completed by? I have quit thc completely but worried about the length it stays in your system….
 
IS R interviewed 3/23. Idk what the f could’ve possibly happened in my interview, he seemed to like me when I talked to him. Incredibly devastated rn
