Daaawg I saw you interviewed 12/17 and I interviewed 12/12 and haven't heard back yet im anxious frfr
I feel like they’re definitely on those days bro. It came out of nowhere, but I have some people who interviewed on 12/12 hear something. Don’t fret. I’m sure it’ll be good news!!!

anyone know if this school has scholarships and if so when do they come out? Debating between schools and need to determine how bad the finances are

Does anyone know if MSUCOM offers advising appointments for prospective students, like western-COMP does? or do they only specifically give feedback after rejections?

Hey guys! If I am submitting an application update about new experiences I have been part of, should I also include contact information for the club that organized them?

No because I feel the same way and trying to stay in state as well. Good luck on your interview! Manifesting it for all of us who wish the same as well 🥹
Thank u my brother, I wish their was a second DO school in michigan but it was the worst DO school of all time worse than Kansascom just so I can be a doctor and stay with my family without having to deal with being blocked out of my state bc of "research" or "prestige". I hope a michigan school takes you or I rec KCU, ATSU KCOM, LECOM or KYCOM and use their michigan rotation sites to get home.

Lol "worse than Kansascom"

Does anyone have any insight for the likelihood of getting an A from MSUCOM this late in the cycle, particularly for OOS applicants? I'm wondering what the chances of an A are, versus just being interviewed for a waitlist spot at this point. I don't want to get my hopes too high.

Anyone that has been accepted. Have you guys received any information on financial aid yet?
They are bad about sending info out but you can call/email the financial aid office and ask to talk to them. But they are also usually not the most helpful either. But log into your SIS and it can help answer some questions

Quick question y'all: I have my interview with MSU this Thursday. Any tips/advice on how to approach the interview? I heard it's super chill and non-stress but I want to make sure I understand what I'm getting into beforehand.

Waitlisted yesterday, absolutely crushed as this is my top choice school 🙁 LM 64 with strong ties to MI and MSU. Interviewed 1/14. praying to get off of it, but not sure how this works. Do they still do a tier system, and if so, do they tell you your tier ever?

Yes, they have them on their website. They are also starting before July 1 to try to grandfather in this last class to the old federal student loan rules, which is huge IMO.
Some students at other med schools are saying they're not gonna be grandfathered in even though they start before July 1st, so I think we'd have to check with msucom admissions/fin aid to confirm this but really hoping it's true

I hate to say it but I did amazing, I hate to say it bc they might just waitlist/reject purely bc my mcat. Also it was pretty nice ngl, alottttt of questions tho tbh so be prepared for that, I only flopped on 1-2 out of like 16-20. She openly said she sees my passion and enthusiasm for med school and that she knows I'll be successful no matter where I end up so I hope thats a good sign. IDK its scary bc I wanna be home and I dont wanna celebrate or anything bc I could easily be rejected

Has anyone heard back post-II if interview was late January/early Feb and if they usually send out responses in order? I know they mentioned 6-8 week turnaround time but I'm getting a bit nervous since this is my top choice. Thanks!
