from last year's posts, it seems like they accept people in late February, and then if u dont hear anything back, the rejections and WLs get released in early March.

I didn't even address the prompt for one of the questions (I didn't understand it and I didn't even know what to say) and still got the A. I don't think they really care about the Kira part, it's mainly to show that they are trying to be objective. That doesn't mean future interviewees shouldn't prepare, but don't stress about it. The traditional interview is the real meat of the interview.
 
Vanderbilt says they give financial aid for up to 45% of demonstrated need. How is demonstrated need calculated? Or do we not know until they tell us? I haven't finished the CSS Profile yet, but would that say what my demonstrated need is?

Trying to figure out what the COA would be.

i think they have in the past so maybe? this year seems weird, especially because some people on admit reported their as via email. the website says acceptances occur in late feb so i think it would have to be tomorrow, but i'm not really sure. here's to hoping!!

Idk man I saw that some people got accepted in mid March last year, but there were people who interviewed in Jan and Feb who got accepted today. I wish they could've just finalized the decisions and sent them via email.

that's why this year is so weird. normally they do a dec, feb, and march acceptance wave but they changed it this year so it's only dec and feb. i wish they would have emailed and let us know about the change. i also really dislike the phone call method, just put me out of my misery and send a mass email 😭

Rant incoming, but... same, completely agree there has to be a better way of doing this. There's some schools I interviewed at about 5 months ago and still haven't heard from. Like that shouldn't be allowed. I'm so stressed over needing to pick a school and trying to know if I'm going to have to pack up my life and move halfway across the country in 4 months but I can't make that decision because I've been applying and interviewing for almost a full year! Only comfort is we're all in the same boat and that it will soon be over 🙂
 
Guys for those that got in yesterday has anyone received an email or portal update? Nothing for me yet, it feels like I dreamt it
