Hi everyone,

MI resident, 3.64 cgpa/3.49sgpa and 511 MCAT

Applying to local schools as well as some like Northwestern, Ohio State, Creighton, and several other private schools.

EC include:
research (300 hr)
TA
RA
volunteering (400 hr)
shadowing (100 hr)

Northwestern is a reach with your stats. You could add Stony Brook, Vermont, Eastern Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth, Medical College Wisconsin and Tulane.

Awesome ECs, Good MCAT, and decent GPA. You have a solid list and Faha added some nice suggestions as well. Northwestern will be a major reach (stats) and unfortunately a LOR from a northwestern alum won't really mean much unless that alum has a position of power at that school (Deans, president, people directly involved in admissions, etc). Regardless I think your chances are fine at the IS schools and a few private schools on your list as long as you play your cards right.
