This is my MD school list, also have 8 “recommended” DO schools that I am planning to apply to. My major concern is GPA is ~25%ile and mcat isn’t phenomenal, and paired with lack of meaningful academic research doesn’t look awesome. Any advice? While I participated in studies in my 2 years in biotech it isn’t super relevant towards what they’d be looking for as far as I can tell. Am nearing 30 and don’t want to push back a cycle. Will be a first time applicant, thank you in advance!

West Virginia, VA Tech and Toledo admit few non residents with no connection to the state or region. Carle mainly admits applicants with an engineering background. You could add these schools:
Oakland Beaumont
TCU
Alice Walton
Belmont
Roseman
Virginia Commonwealth
Eastern Virginia
Hackensack
Vermont

Are you thinking about Illinois RMED or Wisconsin RHET or WARM?
I cannot thank you enough for this as I wasn’t aware this was a thing, I will most definitely apply to the WARM program. At this point I’m more inclined to primary care and I enjoy smaller communities, so I think this would be a fantastic option! Thank you again!
