I know it may seem slightly ridiculous to ask if I should retake the MCAT, but ...

Yes it is. You seem to have a solid app. Just go with it. Do you really want to take the chance that having an off day or insufficient preparation time causes you to go down a point or two on the retake?

haha, yeah that's what I figured. I really don't see myself getting a lower score than this, but I could invest the time I would spend studying to get a ~36-37 in something else that will improve my app. And it is a balanced score, so I can't complain there. Thanks for the reassurance.

You're welcome. BTW, my school (Jefferson) seems to have a fondness for CA applicants. There a lot of people from CA in my class. Since you don't seem adverse to East Coast schools, you may want to add them to your list. Good luck!

too bad I'm not a CA applicant then.. lol. But, yeah, I will definitely be looking into East Coast schools. I'm sure NYU, Einstein, Jefferson and others will make my final list.
