Here is my personal experience with DIT, take it as it is.
I started DIT 4 1/2 weeks away from my test day. I think I took a total of 15 days to go through the program, which was slightly taxing, until I went to 1.5x speed on the videos. That gave me 2 weeks of FA review after post-DIT to smooth out the rough edges of my knowledge base, which I found to be the perfect amount of time to gain further momentum and confidence heading into my test day. I found the high yield questions in the DIT study book to be extremely helpful. and they allowed me to build confidence in my knowledge base. By the time I took my test, I felt an almost overconfidence in my ability to take the test. Come test day, there were enough slam dunk questions that I was relaxed, and didn't sweat the questions that came out of left field. I give DIT a good amount of credit for this. And I was very pleased with the results. (250:87, and I've been an average student at best during second year.)
As you have not started UWorld yet, I would definitely do at least one to two timed set of 46 questions a day, regardless of whether you do DIT or not. If I were you, I'd do those sets first thing in the morning, just to get your body used the routine of the actual test day.
I have no personal experience with Pathoma, but all I hear are good reviews from SDN, so that may be worth checking out, at a much lower cost as well.
