I am a Texas resident applying only to Texas schools. I have a 501 MCAT but a 3.96 GPA from the University of Houston. I have five very, very strong letters of recommendation. I have very meaningful non-clinical and clinical extracurriculars and three research experiences. I am an executive of a non-profit organization that targets health inequities in low-income, underprivileged communities. I am also not planning on retaking this cycle but may consider it if I get radio silence by December or mid-January. Will my insanely low MCAT overshadow all the good I have for everything else? My writing is also excellent I had everything edited and had qualified people looking at everything I have submitted. What are my chances?
