When dental schools say you need 90 credit hours, they mean you need 90 credit hours before you matriculate into dental school, right? If I have a 89 credits, and will be applying after my junior year, but will be getting my bachelors after I apply (and before I matriculate), that's ok, right? In other words, I don't need 90 credits at the time I apply, right?

you got it. its 90 by the time you start school. that'd be a pretty nasty technicality otherwise. that's probably mostly directed at students who are applying at the beginning of their junior year of college, trying to skip their fourth year of school.

which is a brilliant idea, i never realized you could do that. I have 90 credits at the end of my junior year (had ALL predent requirements done too). I should have applied at the end of sophomore year, hopefully been accepted, and i would have already knocked out 1 year
