I was wondering if A and P 1 and 2 need to be completed with grades and all before applying to PT schools? I am going to be a junior undergrad and do not have time slots to take A and P 1 and 2 during all of my junior year...is it possible to apply to PT school summer junior year and then take A and P 1 and 2 during my senior year??

Is this a good idea - what can i do if i do not complete A and P 1 and 2 before the application cycle? Is this normal and will they still look at my app

i am a bio major and basically have all other pre reqs completed, and will take the GRE junior summer.

thanks for any help!

First off: You will fine.

Secondly: Some random guy saying this on the internet probably isn't worth much, so the knee jerk (and good) advice is to email the programs you want to apply to. Send them something showing how your current and planned coursework will satisfy their pre-reqs and ask for confirmation that you're on the right track, or feedback if anything seems off.

I was quite panicked about this very issue a month ago (as a career changer I have a lot of pre-reqs to square away). I emailed the programs I plan on applying to and generally heard simple, straight up confirmations that left me feeling more at ease. Only one program indicated that given their schedule for making decisions and when I would have Fall 2012 grades, I might be applying a year too early. But it wasn't crushing to hear that. Just a good piece of information that helps me better focus.

And having everything written down and documented, with a line of communication established with my target programs...it really set my mind at ease. You will be fine. But get it in writing.

Good luck on your GRE.
