I am thinking of taking a couple science classes at a community college near my 4 years-school where I am a full-time student during the school semester or the summer.

The classes that I am thinking of taking are NOT pre-reqs.
The classes are for the degree of dental assistant or dental hygienist. Since my school doesn't have many dentistry related classes, I thought it would be a good opportunity to take those while I am at school (plus it's cheaper to take a class at CC)http://matcmadison.edu/program-info/dental-hygienist
Are these classes going to count for my total GPA or do I get only credits? And do you think Dschools will look at those even if they are taken at CC?

If you transfer the cc credit to your 4 year university, those classes will count toward your gpa. I was in cc for my first two years and most of my classes were transferred to my university and counted toward my gpa.
For dschool, there are only a few that do not accept cc credit. I dont know in terms of how they will look at cc classes. Most of dschool do accept cc classes. But I think they will put more emphasis on classes from 4 year university.

The thing is that the classes at CC are related to dentistry (the classes designed for those who want to get a dental assistant degree), so there is no class in my 4 years school that has anything to do with those CC classes.

Does that still count toward my GPA?

Every class you take for college credit counts towards your GPA that is calculated by AADSAS even if it won't transfer to your university. It can't hurt to take them at a CC since your school doesn't offer these courses. I wouldn't take them during a regular semester. It will cut into time that you should dedicate to prereqs and upper level science classes. But it you take them over the summer when you wouldn't have take anything, then its a great plan.
