i'm deciding between trying to get off the waitlist at Northwestern or going to NYU or USC. If I could get in to Northwestern their hospital is great, in a great area of town and my family lives in Chicago. I'm not too sure about PBL though. As for NYU, living in New York would be a lot of fun, lots of student groups, and Bellevue is a great teaching hospital, but NYC is a very expensive city to live in and I wouldn't be looking forward to living in a dorm. USC - great weather, easier to get a california residency, and i'm interested in working with hispanic speaking populations, but I've heard there isn't much academic support and USC is probably the least "prestigious" out of the three, but I'm not sure if that small difference would matter in the long run. Anything thoughts???? THanks!! 😳
