Just thought I'd let you guys know...I was looking around my status page for Drexel and noticed that I had a link to schedule an interview. I called them to find out if that meant that I was being invited for an interview and they checked my file and told me yes. So maybe check your status pages instead of waiting for an email!

This is so odd, I got the same thing. No email or note, just a link to a calendar 😕 Is that what you were looking at Erina?

Mine was under application status, then you have to re-enter your banner ID and password. There should then be a link to schedule the interview

yup, that's what it is. i think i confused them when i called, but then they told me that i am on the interview list. i think i may wait a little before scheduling though, to see if maybe i get the email from them. i was a little embarrassed because i clicked on one of the days, thinking it might have times or something, but it just scheduled me! so i canceled and the woman on the phone was like, "you already scheduled and canceled?"

if i dont get the official interview invite email, would someone be willing to forward it to me if you get it? im just worried that because i already "scheduled" an interview, it may not send me the email.

me neither, my status page just says decision not available. anyone else have the LORs entered in weird on the application summary page? My pre-med com letter is under non-science and I have a psych research advisor's rec under sceince. weeiirdd.

My premed comittee packet was sent in; they have it listed as received from Emory University. I goto Georgia Tech. They're probably confused since my major is affiliated with Emory? meh whatever

No invite here either. I got a little excited (and worried) when I found the link that says "To View Your Decision Click Here", but then I clicked on it and it said "decision not available" 🙄

And mine also says they received the MCAT score on 9/11, I'm guessing that's just the day they downloaded them (or something like that).

Erina, I had the same reaction as you. I clicked on a date (because I wasn't sure that it was real) and then it automatically scheduled me for that day! Then I rescheduled for a date that was good for me...but I do plan on calling tomorrow to make sure that I have an interview...I am nervous that they are going to tell me...oops, you don't really have an interview. But I am glad you experienced the same thing and we can commiserate!

My app isn't completed and no decision yet. But, it says my LORs aren't received. And I know my pre-med com definitely sent them in. Guess drexel's getting a phone call on that one...ah technology...

That is awesome information. Thanks so much for letting us know about this website change for Drexel. When I click on the application in progress, it shows that I have a LOR missing, and that my file is incomplete. These were sent out like 2 weeks ago (they have been received by all my other schools). Hopefully i'll see an update soon. 🙂

no problem! yeah, hopefully you will see a complete application soon. and then soon after that, hopefully you'll see an interview! i'm surprised by how quickly they've started with interview invites. and the first available interview day was next week!

did you get the email from them about filling out the secondary? that's where your banner ID comes from.

hmmm how long has your AMCAS been verified? i would call them if it's been awhile...they were nice on the phone.

oh, another thing...apparently there's a phone number for drexel admissions in general. and when you say to them, "there's an interview link on your status page" they have no idea what you're talking about. don't know why that number is on the med school site...

I would call them. Same thing happened to me, I paid the fee but it's still coming up as not paid, so I called and they told me to contact the technical person. I got a transaction and fee receipt, and the statement is on my credit card, but they didn't see it at their end either. I still haven't heard back from the technical people. I have had a lot of trouble with them this year, starting with just accessing that damn application.

mine says that the have not received the committee letter although it was uploaded to virtualeval on august 17th...

i guess their phones are going to be busy tomorrow.

i just got off the phone with Drexel. my file was missing my LORs which have been on VirtualEval since 8/17. they just haven't downloaded them 😕
now i'm complete.
i would recommend calling them to figure things out...

Hm... I have some difficulty with using phones but I'll ask my friend to call Drexel for me. I had my committee letter sent out in July and it is still not showing up -- since I got the secondary invite August 30th and completed the secondary almost a week ago, I figured that they would just get around to making my application complete. I didn't want to be one of those neurotic pre-meds obsessing over each and every little thing, but I suppose a phone call to check on the status of my LORs can't hurt.

Did you submit your secondary online or did you mail it in?

I submitted it online on August 24. By August 28, the status page said my application had not been submitted. So I submitted again and also emailed them and haven't had any issues since.

yeah i did everything online. the first status page is the one that was giving me trouble originally. i didn't have a second status page at that point in time.

Same scenario here with Drexel: MCAT rcvd 9/11 even tho i took it in April. No app fee even tho I paid by credit card in late Aug. I called Admissions and they explained they were having some tech problems and it should be corrected soon.

I had the same problem. I paid via CC online, but my fee status showed "not received". Still trying to sort it out.

a note for anyone who submitted letters via VE or interfolio. i called today because i used interfolio over a month ago yet they hadn't recognized them. once saying that i had sent electronically they checked and said they had them and that i am complete. yay

Another update about Drexel. Their application status page (where you enter banner info the second time) is currently unavailable. At least to me anyway. Maybe this means more updates on the way???

On my status page, it indicates that they received GRE scores from last years application cycle (when I thought about applying for graduate school).

Is it possible that they look at these when evaluating my medical school application?
