Ok i heard that if I get accepted you have a choice of either starting the following fall after the acceptance or you can defer to wait a whole entire year and then start during during that fall without reapplyinig and all that stuff. Is this true? cause i want to take a whole year off.

They are going to want a good reason why you can't start. Most of the time you will need to provide documentation.
