U.S. born and raised.

BS in Community Health (Health Education) from the University of Illinois - Urbana.

MPH in Environmental and Occupational Health from the University of Illinois - Chicago.

After my MPH I worked as a municipal consultant and was tasked to the United States Fire Administration's Major Incidents Investigation Team.

Then I went on for my MD also from UIC.

I am now a resident in emergency medicine.
