so..

1. what's your MCAT scores?
2. GPA?
3. do you shadow a DO?
4. What's the most important thing that people are not too aware of?
5. of course, where did you get accepted?

I just want to have some idea of the application process. It should help out other members like me as well.

I can't answer your question because I'm in the process now and waiting for interviews. Hopefully when things workout I can let you know. But in the meantime you can consider reading the FAQ's on the top of the pre-DO page.

hi there,

These stats are easily accessible anywhere, if you visit the website of the school you are interested in, I'd say there is a good chance they will have the stats of the average cum and sci GPA of the people who were accepted and enrolled, as well as average MCAT. In addition you will be able to find out what percentage of the students are male/female and in-state/out-of-state.

If people do respond to this thread you will be looking at possibly 10-20 responses while the stats given by the schools on their websites will cover 100-200 people. Also if you goto the wall of fame/lame/shame thread, some of the accepted people will have a link to their MDapplicants (or something) profile at the bottom that you can review, save a copy, email the person whose file you are viewing to ask how they got their job/volunteer/internship, threaten them if they don't tell you, make a lifelong enemy, quit applying to medical school and focus on your new goal of tracking down that person and making his/her life miserable for not helping you get into medical school... and so on. Best of luck! :luck:

Check the mdapps profile link. You can also pick up a U.S. News medical school book which have the average stats.
