Hi!

I have a JAMP interview coming up very soon and I'm not completely sure what to expect, or how to approach it since the interview is not to get into a specific med school.

In preparing for the interview, I realized there won't be any questions geared to any med school in specific. So...

  • What type of questions would be valuable to ask if it's not an interview for a specific medical school? The interview is at UTSW and I'm pretty sure it will be staff from the school, but I'm not sure if it's worth it to ask any questions pertaining to UTSW in this specific case.
  • Slightly off topic, but is it worth bring copies of my resume to the interview? Overall, what should I bring into the interview room besides myself?
Thanks

I'm not sure about the JAMP program, but you don't usually need to bring a resume to a med school interview... They should have that info already. And out of curiosity, is this interview to get into the JAMP program itself? or is it like a regular med school interview for UTSW but you also happen to be in the JAMP program with a guaranteed acceptance to one of the schools?

The interview is to get into the JAMP program to match me to a med school!

Hey @Falling Up, I have my JAMP interview at UTSW coming up also. I just looked up some med school questions online. I doubt they want us to bring our resumes because most of our information should be on the application that we turned in. One of my friends at my university who got in said they should send an email with more details. We can talk more about it. I sent you a message.
