Hi

i went to broward community college (BCC) to take bull**** non-science classes including some gen ed courses, for 3 semesters and got a cGPA of 2.58 (because i was not thinking correctly :/ )

I am currently attending Nova Southeastern University and have a cGPA of 3.28 with a science gpa of 3.2

I have improved overtime, especially in science courses, and have 2 semesters left of which i expect to get straight A's.

I want to know if AADSAS gpa calculation will also include the stupid gen ed classes from BCC and my NSU gpa to make a new (lower) cGPA??

This would suck since it messes up all of my current efforts to pull my gpa from 2.5 to 3.3...

That's a tricky situation. I think you should call and ask them. Call early in the morning so they are not swamped with other inquiries.

It is my understanding you have to have all of your transcripts forwarded from anywhere you have taken courses for credit. These transcripts will have all of the classes you ever have taken. If you have a pre dental requirement, you 100% cant get by without having it submitted. Otherwise i dont know "how" they would find out.

ADEA then compiles GPA's for each institution, as well as another total GPA for all of your courses taken.
For individual schools, as well as total classes, it is broken up into science, non science, BCP, overall, as well as weighted and non weighted for each category.

Compare how AADSAS calculates GPA and your community college as well as with University.
To my understanding community college grade don't include +/- , University does. In my university B+ is 3.5 but AADSAS has B+ as 3.3 so for my case it lowered my GPA from 3.5 to 3.2....since I had so many B+ and several C+..But you should definitely call them.

They count all of them CC and the Upper Undergrad classes together. Its going to hurt, and keep the option for an SMP/Postbac, I noticed that many schools attitudes change when they just hear the word CC. But hey if you have an upward trend, it might help, and with a stellar DAT you've got a fighting chance. Good Luck
