This was pretty much a guess based on the fact that of all the answer choices, K is the closest to a noble gas configuration so it would react with whatever it can to reach the noble configuration.

First question: Is that logic true? That something really close to a noble gas config is going to be pretty reactive?

Second question: If the answer to question 1 is yes, then is a highly reactive substance necessarily going to react "violently"?

To be flat out honest you and I are getting the same ones right and wrong. I chose K because I know Na blows up with water.
