Can someone please explain to me why D is not correct? I assumed that based on Bernoulli's equation, lower pressure means higher velocity so because the velocity in the capillaries is lower, that must mean the pressure was higher? Intuitively, D didn't make much sense, but I guess I didn't really understand Bernoulli's principle and blindly applied it to this question.

Also, the equation I need to come to the right answer would've been Av=Av?

Yes, the equation you need to use is A1V1=A2V2. Also, if the blood pressure is higher in the capillaries, the blood would flow from the capillaries to the arteries, which doesn’t make sense. Also, Bernoulli’s equation deals with laminar flow, so you cannot apply the equation here because the arterial blood flow separates into multiple smaller capillary tubes.
