AAMC Practice Exams
Started by ilovefeet
Each MCAT examination is different, but 8 and 9 are pretty accurate ones. However some get biology sections closer to 11's test while some don't. So I would recommend doing either 8 or 9 and 11 too (or at least the bio section from it.)
Good luck.
Good luck.
I took 7 and 8 with virtually no studying between the time of taking those and the actual MCAT. 7 and 8 came out with same score, and actual MCAT was 2 points higher. So I guess they're pretty accurate. The nature of the MCAT itself is pretty dynamic, so you'll never know.
From the looks of it, I feel like I should be doing as many as I can from 7-11 😛
Did you guys do one a week or every other day? Every 3 days?
My studying was poor, so I don't recommend following my example, but I did one 40 days before my test, 2 weeks before my test, and 5 days before my test.

I don't know Max, I remember you got above a 30...
was your studying really that poor?

but in all seriousness, do you think taking
one practice test every 3 days is doable? or is that too much? [a month before the exam]
thoughts anyone?

It is doable, yes, but you know yourself best. If you feel you can take a practice test, then review the test effectively the next day then do a test every 3 days. BUT if you don't do well in memorizing and retaining information that quickly I do not suggest a practice test every 3 days, it doesn't help to cram tests if you aren't learning from them.

okay thanks!
I will try it out and see how it works, if not I will switch to once a week. 👍
I took the free exam first, then #7 and #11. I scored 4 points higher than my highest practice exam score.
I also pounded 2 Redbulls before the real exam tho!! 😀

If you have the time and $$$ invest in all the exams and start from the bottom and make your way to the top...i.e #3 to #11.
That's a good idea, I think I might do something like that.
I am not taking any classes right now, so all I have to do is study for the MCAT.
Thanks for the advice. 👍
