Andrew and all you veterans...any suggestions on stuff to check out at this year's academy for a neophyte R1?....just so happens I'll be able to make it there this year but am not sure what would be best for my low level of training....Thanks for any suggestions..hope to see you guys in Chicago! 😀

Check out the Young Ophthalmologists meetings; There was a meeting about starting out and building your own practice last year and it was amazing. Overall, try to meet as many people as you can and have fun. You probably won't get to attend again until you are PGY3 or 4.

Go network and have fun. The meeting is more about networking than 'learning' things. Have fun. I'm not going to be there this year. 🙁
