any recommendation on an Abnormal Psych textbook? Everything I have come across is outdated, full of extraneous correlational findings, and simply dull.

Fundamentals of Abnormal Psychology (Looseleaf) / Edition 6

I LOVE this book. It's a few years old, so I would maybe look for a newer edition for more recent research.

Fyi, Nevid & Rathus has a new edition in the fall.
