For those of you who are applying to two different professional schools, for instance, pharmacy and dental...Do you ask the same people to write two letters, one for each application, or do you ask completely different people?

It is hard finding 3+ people to write you solid letters, I was wondering how people apply to 2 different professional schools and obtain their letters...

Why are you applying to 2 different schools? Are you trying to maximize your chances of getting into either professions? Actually, I'm sure it's okay to get rec letters from the same people but they might question the reason of both schools. It's like telling them you have not decided what your ultimate career goal is as well as to ADCOM when you interview, they'll ask what other schools are you applying to. Then of course, you tell them that you are applying to both dental and pharmacy...that gives the impression that you are not serious and committed to just one profession.

He's not going to tell them about his dental schools when they ask. If you're applying to both don't shoot yourself in the foot by telling the adcoms.

I had a friend who applied to both pharmacy and optometry at the same time. Her professors were fine with writing LOR to both programs. However, she had a separate pharmacist and optometrist LOR for each program.

Sorry, I guess it didn't occur to me that he's not going to tell ADCOM about both professions. I'm just an honest person when and if asked that question of what schools I am applying to and I wouldn't apply to both at the same time, that's just me. But its perfectly fine.
