Academic Update If Still Under Review?

If you are still under review (but already interviewed) or have been waitlisted, should you do the academic update, or do schools already have enough paperwork and info on you to deal with? I would prefer not to have to deal with it, but I was wondering if anyone had info on whether it would be worth it or influence admissions decisions.

I am in that situation, and I have updated my grades and spring/summer courses. I want to give them as much info as I can so that they can make a move on my application. I would suggest doing it, it may be a hard enough push in the right direction.
