I am in a bit of a crunch.
Recently, I have been offered a workstudy job with a professor who will be writing my science LOR. He's willing to pay me $11/hr. However, I am already working with another professor, who might write me a supplemental LOR. This professor pays me $8 (money isn't the real issue), but I have known him for 2+years. On top of my current job, I also volunteer on the weekdays. Would it be ill-advised to turn down this new job offer, considering that it would be a great way to cement my relationship with this science professor? I have debated about reducing my hours at my current job, but would my current boss look unfavorably on me for doing so?
I am not sure how to approach this problem. Many thanks.
