Yep..................from now on Henna's quote is gonna be one of my new principles in life.

Today is my new birthdate.I have been born again & I won the jackpot.

A guy buzzed on my door at 9:00 am this morning ,and handed me a large envelope.I was still sleepy..............I did not have any clue.

I opend it ,while I was still half eyes closed,and .........
...............................and the Grand prize goes to................

YEEEEE.... HH....... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..........................

It is a FEDEX from UPENN.......

It is a BOY.....................

It is an acceptance letter from UPENN.............


I can now say that I find myself a spot in this world.I wish the best luck to all those who are still waiting

Hey SDN members,
i learnt from one helpful SDN buddy that there has been one more drop out at UCSF. I called Barbara Richardson today afternoon and as soon as i introduced myself, she tells me that Oh I am just sending out your acceptance letter!!!!
I am very delighted. I had a score of 86 on my Part 1 and had no hopes of getting in this year. Well acceptance at UCSF is a real treat. I was so eager to go to UCSF.
Henna, i am so excited to meet you.

Thank you very much all of you. It feels so good to know that so many people are happy for me.
well My scores are Part 1 86, TOEFL 267 and GPA 3.3.Not very impressive. But then the UCSF system of selection was so different and so fair. Once you are called for an interview you are equal to any other person at the interview. We went through a written exam, Technical exam and a personal interview. all these 3 things and the part 1 scores carried weightage for the selection. Yes part 1 carried 40% weight. then each one of us was graded on all these 4 aspects and after suming up the scores of all the 4 a ranking chart was made.
the 1st 24 were accepted and those remaining of the 64 candidates called for the interview were all on the wait list. When you call them they also tell you whether you are high on the wait list, in the middle or very low in the list.
Most people had a better part 1 score than me so i had to do well in the exams and interview. i studied the part 2 decks for the written exam, read Calss 2 amalgum prep and filling( they ask one Class2 prep and one class 2 filling...nothing else). I had practised class 2prep in india and did i once at the USC exam. I prepared for the interviewtoo. read a a lot of books, prepared answers and practised with my husband. Well friends, Preparing for an interview really helped me!!!
i was really keen on UCSF cos out of all the schools that called me for an interview UCSF was my top choice.
well in the end i can only say people with scores in high 80s....dont lose hope. just work hard and give it your best shot. IT DOES PAY!!! AND THAT TOO THIS WELL!!!!!

I really wish if I can have a big party and meet all of you in one place.Pinktooth : You do not need an invitation ,nither anyone else who talked to me during my 7 monthis membership at SDN , all of you are more than welcomed.Most SDN members did not desert me when I really needed their guidence ,so how do you think it is during my happy moments ??.

Got accepted in all three of them.
My scores:

NDBE1: 96
GPA: 3.81
Toefl: 263

Solafide is not your conecction, is SDN server. It constantly goes down, but it fixes itself in a couple of minutes, you just have to keep trying.
