Hi
been accepted early and now im feeling bad that im not doing anything next semester since i have completed all my pre-reqs and have a BS.
the school that i have been accepted to wanted me to take A&P II but when i called them they told me since i have a BS it's going to be waived.
I was working on my MS before and had 3 semesters left, but now that i had been accepted i decided to quit that.
So is there anyone else who isnt doing anything next semester?just waiting basically?HUH
It just feels wierd,.....................

Take a break/vacation or start looking for a place to leave if ur goin to an out of state school.

Work at starbucks... better-than-minimum pay and i think they give benefits at 20 hr/week.

its a quick fix and you earn some money.

take some time to relax so you don't get burnt out during pharm school. The extra rest will give you a boost when you start!

Is it common for schools to do this? I took a whole semester of Anatomy in undergrad but I am missing the corresponding semester of Physiology. I also have a BS. One of the schools I am applying to has already told me (offhandedly) that they would waive that requirement while all the others I've applied to don't require it. The problem is that my #1 choice requires it. I'll email the school but I doubt that the school itself will tell me not to take a pre-req before I am even accepted.

I will be graduating this December, and I was considering taking biochemistry the semester before I start pharmacy school. Ive never taken biochemistry so I think it might be a good idea since my first year as a P1 at MWU has biochemistry.

I think it's important to take a break before starting pharmacy school. I'm done with all my prereqs except Physics II, so I'm only doing that this winter.

I am in the same situation... except I took physiology and not anatomy!

So basically the best route is to go for a BS rather than completing the pre-reqs, because if you have a BS and get accepted to a program then they might waive some pre-reqs that you never took. like in my case biochem II.

Getting my B.S. in Jan. 2010, so I'll probably be traveling, relaxing, hangin out with friends like crazy, working, gymming..... :luck:
