Are there any rules against the same person being the chairman and the program director? Just curious.....thanks.

I wonder this myself since they always seem to be two separate people. To me it seems like too much responsibility/work to do both and still be involved in patient care. Some programs even have asst. PDs.

no there is not. its kinda like people who are head coach and GM in football or other sports.
