acgme requirements for surg prelim

Hey question here....i have interviewed at a few surgical prelims and one that really interests me has the required 2 months of ICU but no ER months. However it does have 2 months of Trauma....does that count as the ER requirement?

I know this program has about 4 prelims every year that are going into anesthesia so I doubt they are not ACGME compliant. If anyone has any more details or information please let me know as soon as you can...also any opinions or perspective also appreciated

It may depend on how you choose to list it; for example you can do medical ICU and count it as either ICU or medicine, but not both. My guess is you may indeed be able to list Trauma as EM.
