I need to know where to find accreditation requirements for the gen surg pgy-1 year. I went and looked unsuccessfully on the ACGME website.
Specifically, I need to know what rotations, etc, constitute the minimum requirement for pgy-1 year in gen surg.
My personal problem involves the fact that I am being given crappy rotations. For example, 4 out of my 12 months are night float months. I know other interns do not have this same schedule. I'm sure for proper ACGME accreditation, the intern year (or any year for that matter) must be more varied.
