I’m not sure if there is a thread yet for the masters in biomedicine program at the Arkansas college of health education, but I wanted to start one so that prospective and admitted students can discuss. I was recently accepted and will be attending, so I am happy to answer any questions about the program and why I chose it.

What other programs did you apply to? I’m a bit torn between this one and another

Hey how's it going? I plan on applying the next cycle, would anyone be comfortable with sharing their states. It seems like a good program.

Hello, I recently applied to ACHE MSB for the 2024-2025 and wanted to ask how the program is and what the acceptance rate is?

I am thinking about applying to ACHE to start in 2025. How difficult is it compared to 1st year of med school there?
I have MCAT 497 and GPAc 3.25 and GPAs 3.25.
also, would I need to retake the mcat if I got the guaranteed interview if I was to do this program?
How does this compare to Lincoln Memorial's masters program?

According to ACHE website, those who are able to complete the ACHE SMP program, 85% are able to matriculate into ARCOM. LMU-DCOM has a provisional acceptance or guaranteed interview depending on GPA with a 497 MCAT and up. Another difference to note is that tuition total at ACHE is 10k for instate and out of state while the cost for LMU-DCOM SMP tuition alone is 44K with other programs like RVU, PNWU charging the same or even more. I do not know how difficult the SMP programs are compared to med school, but I am sure that a direct linkage from any of these schools into their medical school is going to be just about as difficult med school. I wish you the best luck and hope you get the chance.
