Hi everyone! I’m very grateful to be able to choose but it's hard and would like to get some input! I already submitted a deposit to BCOM long time ago but recently got accepted to ACOM with a deposit due soon. I’m from CA and would love to match back to CA or closer to CA for residency with my interest in family medicine. Please help me decide. Thanks.

ACOM Pros:
- more established with strong curriculum, non profit
- good match rates, good pass rates for board exams
- affiliated with Southeast hospital system
- solid rotation sites
- supportive faculty and admin, they appear to really invested into students

ACOM Cons:
- the location is not ideal for me, Dothan is a smaller town which is different than what I used to.
-no support system, will have to move far away from home
- less students match back to the west side
- some strict attendance policy and dress code

BCOM Pros:
- more closer to home
- great mission fit for me since they appear to be very committed to serve diverse and underserved population
- pass/ fail system, no mandatory lecture
- clinical rotation sites in large cities
- solid match list, more students matching to the west and southwest regions

BCOM Cons:
- newer and less established, for-profit institution (unsure how this will affect me as a student)
- high attrition rate, lower board score but getting better
