I took the ACS exam as my final for second semester chemistry a few days ago. I did terribly. Passed the class, but now I have to work extra hard in Organic to show schools I can hang.

I took it last year and totally recommend getting the ACS study guide- it totally saved my butt and made it way easier.

Yup. Definitely buy the study guide.
Study guide (pretty much) = Exam.
I don't know if this is the proper place to do this, but I have the study guide.
I received it in the mail a week and a half ago and don't need it now that the final's over. No highlighting, pretty much new condition.
PM me if interested.

After the tests my professor gave the ACS final was a walk in the park. I think I got a 90% on it? For the guy who said you need to do some work in Organic, don't worry; I didn't do the greatest in gen chem(I- B, II- A-) and I have a 97% test average in OChem I going into my final next week. It takes work, but honestly I think gen chem could be one of the harder chem classes you can take in undergrad if you learn through indepth understanding and work at it more long term. I learn like that, and the constant changing of subject matter every 2-3 weeks really didn't help me learn the material the best. Organic though, EVERYTHING builds off what you did before, which also means if you get behind on someone it's going to bite you in the ass hard later on when you still need to know it.
