I've heard that MCAT scores are commonly very near one's ACT scores. This claim sounded dubious to me until I scored exactly the same on both tests. Granted, you might need to look at percentages rather than scores, and I think the max ACT score was 35...don't recall exactly... But, just for kicks, what was the difference between your ACT and MCAT score?

I scored 29 on my ACT and I scored a 26 on my last practice test.

I took the ACT a half-dozen times, and my scores gradually increased every time from an initial 27 to a final 33.

Thus far, I've taken three practice tests for the MCAT (2 PR and 1 AAMC) and my scores have again risen gradually, from a bleak 17 to a 24... mind you, I completed a majority of my pre-med requirements 3-4 years ago, so I am a little rusty, especially in biology and the physical sciences.

My ACT (3rd time) was a 33. My MCAT (1st time) was a 32N.

That's seems pretty close to me.

I got a 29 on my ACT...and my last practice MCAT score was 31.

So, I think its certainly believable.

I'll let you know once I do the real deal...
