Activities during med school

What sort of activities do med school students get involved in other than studying during the school year?

more volunteering? more service? more research? or clubs, outdoor activities and stuff...

im sure its whatever you want to, i will be mountain biking, fishing, camping, mountaineering as much as possible, no volunteering or service work for me

I worked out at a mixed martial arts gym at least twice a week. Really helped me keep my sanity. And surprisingly did not have much trouble in finding the time to get to the gym.
