Did you guys put down contacts for all of the clubs/jobs/etc... on your application? It's been a pain in the arse for me so far.

How detailed did you get on both your contact info and the description of the activity. I've described them, but I haven't gone nuts with them....

No, I posted the contacts that I knew very well and left the others blank. I was never asked about it at the interviews.

I had contacts for every activity, I knew every contact and they knew me and knew that I was using them as a contact. I had assumed that it was necessary. Then again, since you do not enter contact info, who knows how far AMCAS goes in attempting to contact anyone on the list.

Yeah, I can't see them really being too hard core about it. A friend of mine said he was just going to plain lie about his activities, because at one of the med schools that he was going to apply to someone said that they don't even check out the authenticity of your activities. I think that is really dangerous--not something that I'd want to risk doing, plus I think my activities/awards are quite good. I kind of makes me mad that some schools don't even check, though.
