Hey everyone, I will be doing my second clinical rotation in acute rehab setting. My first one was outpatient ortho. Any ideas on what to prepare for that’s different from orthopedics? Also anyone ever did an affiliation at Encompass health?

You do not really need to prepare for that. Just do not rush, be aware of IV cords and other stuff attached to patients. Make sure you do not take blood pressure on the arm that has IVs, dialysis shunts, etc in it. You may need to learn how to de/attach portable O2 tanks to patients who are on supplemental O2, but they will teach you that in the clinic. When moving patients, do it slowly and monitor their response. If you do it slowly and something is wrong or hurts, you can always stop. If you are rushing, it is less safe for you and the patient.
