Hi,guys,,really need to ask..have you ever experienced a patient developed an acute renal failure after u gave few bags of PRC and FFPs?
i have a patient who had his Ureum and creatinine from 30 and 1.3 in day one and in the next day, he developed his ureum 66 and creatinine 6.0.....In day one, we gave this patient 5 bags of prc and 5 bags of FFP because this patient had DIC from his Septic shock..so, do you think it was because of the transfusion or just because of the sepsis and the shock?..please help me to understand and to learn..thx u
