i heard that if you reapply, the adcoms can see your entire app from the previous year.. is this true??

They all see that you are a reapplicant, but I believe only the ones you previously applied to have your application from the previous year.

From a logistics point, I doubt it. How many files do you think adcoms are willing to keep? Considering the benefits holding each file would give them (I don't see any really big ones here), I doubt they'd really bother. I'm not saying definitively...

Depends how high tech they are. If it's all electronic, then why wouldn't they keep it. And AMCAS is given to the schools electronically each year.

one school i applied to gives you the option to use everything from the previous year as a reapp, so i think if you applied to the school they def have it, but other schools might not

so i guess if you made changes to your app since last year, that would raise some red flags?

i say that, becasue i am part hispanic (50%) but didnt put that down last year. would it seem odd if i put it this year, but not last year? i feel like they would think i am lying. haha. maybe its not worth the fuss to put that i am hispanic?

ps does being 1/2 hispanic classify you as urm?

when i was at an interview at BU they had boxes of apps in this one room next to where i was interviewing, at some said 1995 and 1996....so yeah i think they do keep them

logistics dont really matter when it comes to CYA and everyone does that now a days because you never know when a lawsuit will pop up

and yes the change to half hispanic would seem a little sketchy to me
