Common advice I hear is to not repeat stuff you said in your secondaries that you said in your primary application. But is it okay or should we take a few words to give context to an extracurricular activity that we talk about?

Example: Let's say I'm talking about an organization I worked at during college. Should I take a few words to introduce that organization again in case the adcoms forget what that organization does? I also hear that sometimes people read your secondaries independently so I assume it would be a good idea to give that context in case the person reading my secondary didn't read my Work and Activities?

This is true at some med schools, so you will need to include some context.
