only because I think it would be col to be a DOOD
People would be all like "what's up DOOD".
What do you think? Bad idea? 😀
docbill said:Or it could be simply stupid to go back to school so you can play scable with your qualifications.
hmm.....I don't know what a troll is.(unless I dig out my old D & D monster kit..but dude that was 25 years ago) I'm guessing you guys spend WAY too much time in these boards and now have your own language.docbill said:I know but I was borred packing for my trip to Florida. So I though delay things by answering trolls. Now if this is a hot little Female trolleeettt.. then I guess it would be okay.. but hnnn prob just ugly bored OD wanting to be an DO.
Thanks....docbill said:If you are serious.. there are lots of DC and OD who go back to do a DO degree or medical degree. Contact the schools directly and see what they would say. Normally MCAT will have to be taken. That is where it becomes a pain in the ass. You have to go back and remember things from YEARSSS ago.
BTW, there are lots of people on here that post stupid stuff.. they are called trolls... and we are not too "nice" to these people. So that is why people responded as such.
Good luck with that itch. I say put some tropical cream and go to med school. 4 years later it should be out of your system.
You have to start over. It's four years for you as well. Even students transferring from another medical school (e.g., Caribbean) sometimes have to start over from year one.drmhyde said:Thanks....
just a question....do you get any time for time served or do you take all four years. Many classes in 1st and second year are probably the same. I just don't know.Plus..I'm 35, have a decent practice with my wife. I just wonder if it's worth the effort. I love the idea of learning more and practicing the way I would like too. These are the questions that keep me up at night.
Plus we're already in debt to the tune of 140 K in student loans. I think that wife could possibly kill me. (I am insured..hmmm...got think about that one)
yikes! 😱FutureDocDO said:You have to start over. It's four years for you as well. Even students transferring from another medical school (e.g., Caribbean) sometimes have to start over from year one.
Yup! You'll be 40 when you graduate. Add another 3-6 years of residency!drmhyde said:yikes! 😱
