I recently started a job that has allowed me to meet a lot of different physicians. A few of them have offered to let me shadow them throughout the summer. I'm planning on applying this cycle, and so was hoping to submit my primary application either this week or next week as I finish up my Work/Activities section.
I'd feel disingenuous naming physicians that I hadn't yet shadowed, but planned to, on my primary application. Is it acceptable that I put these hours on my secondary application as I get through them? Will adcoms consider them when they aren't on my primary?
So far, I have 60 shadowing hours, but they're all with specialists. These new physicians are primary care, so I think it'd be helpful to get them on my application somewhere.
